New Name. Same Great Service.

Insure Ohio Graydon Toole Group

Grayon-Toole Group was not born overnight. In fact, we are over eight decades in the making. We started with humble beginnings in the 30's, pushing paper and providing insurance services to the city of Cleveland. This was before fancy software, nearly instant quotes, or even the internet.

Even in writing this blog post we became interested in seeing what a 1930's office might look like.(Give yourself the treat of looking at these photos from the office space of this decade.)Technology will always continue to change, automate, and simplify our lives though there is one thing that it will never replace- the trust and bond that takes place with face-to-face contact and a trusting relationship. This has been our focus since our founding- embrassing technology while maintaining a strong and loyal relationship with our clients.

So while you will now know us as the Graydon Toole Group, an insurance firm focused on getting you the best coverage for the best price, know that we will not stray from our roots of providing exceptional services everyday. Coming summer of 2017, we will be upgrading our office and moving to a new building allowing us to hire more staff and be a greater part of the community we love.

Inside your Homeowners Policy there is an exclusion for vacancy. This means that you would not be covered if your property was vandalism or freezing of plumbing if the building was vacant for 60 consecutive days immediately before the loss. Scenerio: Bob has a property across town that he does not live in or rent out. The property has been vacant for 90 days. Some teenagers decided to graffiti the side of the house. This would NOT be covered under his homeowners policy because it has been vacant for 60 days prior to the vandalism. What qualifies a property or building as vacant? A property or building will qualifiy is it has been vacant for 60 consecutive days or more. Are frozen pipes ever covered if the building was vacant? The isured can potentially be covered if they used reasonable care to maintain the heat. Insurance can be boring and confusing at times- but not to us! Car accidents are scary and emotional for everyone involved. However it is critical to keep a calm and level head so that the whole ordeal can be run a lot smoother. Here is a complete check list of what to do in the case of a car accident: If possible, move the vehicle to a safe area If the vehicle can still drive, move it off to the side of the road into a safe location. This can include a parking lot, the shoulder of the road, or any area out of the line of traffic. If the car cannot be moved, turn on your hazard lights to alert drivers you are not able to move anywhere. Turn off vehicle and get out If you are not seriously injured and can safely move, turn off the vehicle, take a big, deep breath, do a quick inspection of the vehicle to make sure it is safe to exit, and get out. If you have safety signage or flairs, remove them from the car and place them in way to alert other drivers of the accident. Check with the other passengers and drivers Make sure all parties involved
